A woman who has been confined to her Dallas apartment under armed guard after a man infected with Ebola stayed at her home said she never imagined this could happen to her so far from disease-ravaged West Africa.
Louise Troh said Thursday that she is tired of being locked up and wants health authorities to decontaminate her home.

Does any one object?
I don’t.
They should have been under armed guard from the very first. These people are unbelievable....while they may never come down with it, if they did, they could cause the death of untold numbers of people.
Apartment?
What about the other tenants?
the same may happen to many of us. What does she want us to do? How the heck do you stop a disease in its tracks if you don’t take action like this?
An aside question? Are they here LEGALLY????
And it has only been a few days. She can get used to it because the rest of us are not going to put up with her stupidity.
Exactly. Funny how no one wants to talk about the immigration status of those living in the ebola apartment.
Awww she’s tired of being locked up. She ought to be locked up in jail, trying to hide this illness and spread it around to the rest of the freaking world. I don’t mind helping the helpless but I refuse to help the clueless. How much help will ever be enough for these dumbasses?
She should consider herself VERY fortunate that she’s being allowed to be quarantined in her HOME, and not isolated in some fortified ‘fish tank’ somewhere.
I am sure she would be free to roam in Liberia.
Probably with a burning tire necklace, but at least she wouldn’t have to be bothered with having to act civilized.
About time.
Unless they also came into contact with the infected man, then they are pretty irrelevant.
This woman sent the kids to school this week KNOWING that there may be a possibility of them being infected. She took the chance of exposing all the other students in the 5 schools . Pretty stupid and reckless if you ask me.

Sit your ass down and watch TV or something!
By the way, could we see your passport or visa or whatever the hell you have that allows you to be in the US?
Yes. Common sense was not available there.
Put her on a ship in the Atlantic by herself.
Ya. But I wouldn’t want to take any chances. Especially if it is my family.
Why risk it?
The Obama administration has quietly dumped quarantine rules that would have required air passengers to submit more information to airlines and strengthened the government's authority to detain travelers suspected of carrying disease.
