The Centers for Disease Control edited its Ebola prevention fact page on September 19. A note at the bottom of the page says as much. cdc-ebola-1 So what was changed? Here is the top of the page as it reads now, after the edit. Therefore, healthcare workers must be able to recognize a case of Ebola and be ready to use practical viral hemorrhagic fever isolation precautions or barrier nursing techniques. They should also have the capability to request diagnostic tests or prepare samples for shipping and testing elsewhere.

Why did the CDC edit all of that information out? Did the science change, or did the government make the edit for some other reason(s)?

Well, maybe because there was a major outbreak of ebola in west Africa? Given the realities of modern air travel, it wasn’t out of the realm of the possible for an infected individual to end up here.

Let me hazard a few guesses.

1. US patient 1 (Thomas Eric Duncan) quit his FedEx job in Monrovia a few weeks ago after helping his landlord move Ebola patients. He knew he likely contracted the Ebola virus from one of the two people he moved. He obtained a visa to travel to the US and flew to Dallas knowing that American medicine give him a better chance of survival than Liberian medicine.

2. The Centers for Disease Control realized that eventually someone with the virus would enter the United States because we are not keeping people from the affected regions out of the United States.

3. If we assume that what the CDC says about a 21 day incubation period is true, and that Mr. Duncan first went to the hospital in Dallas with symptoms on September 24 and was returned home, he could have infected other in Dallas until he was admitted to the hospital on September 28. Twenty-one days from September 24 is October 15. Twenty-one days from September 28 is October 19. The Ebola scare may be the October Surprise. (I am not saying it is planned. I am saying that Obama and his minions never let a crisis go to waste.)

Maybe they are trying to make it easier for Ebola to spread, and kill as many as possible. Now, is that cynicacism, or what? Remember, however, the Obungler regime is in power. Unless it can be proved otherwise, I just assume everything they do, is with evil intent.

As a side note, did anyone else notice that they tried to dump the blame on the nurse at the hospital for “not asking about foreign travel” which after a formal complaint to the state medical board or such changed to “ineffective communication of the travel circumstances to the clinical panel”.

In other words, the nurse went through the checklist and properly noted the foreign travel to Liberia on chart. The foreign doctors “no understandee Englisee too good and don’t know about E-bowling” were completely incompetent and sent the guy home. Later the doctors, department directors, and hospital director tried to dump it on the nurse.

Notice that not a single MSM pimp or pimpette questioned either the MSM “rent a Doc” or the CDC director as to why airplanes were allowed to land in the US without immediate 30 day quarantines or even allow to land at all.

I would be curious at the # of absentee ballots were sent out...About the average/election? Or did a higher proportion of democrats get absentee ballots this year?

If the polls have to be closed down and only absentee ballots counted, then there you go...
