Hey! When I was a kid, my folks had a VW Bug. Remember that cute little ‘cubby’ in the back, over the engine block?
Yep. That’s where they put me, and later my sister, while driving around doing chores, or we were driving long hours to visit relatives.
Seat belts? Didn’t have them in any of the cars they drove until I was a teen.
How did ANY of us survive? ;)
However - puttin’ baby in the airless trunk in a Florida summer? Probably not your best move...
