President Obama firmly believes the United States is better off now than when he took office, even though the American people cannot feel it.
During an interview with 60 Minutes Steve Kroft, Obama said, the country is definitely better off than when I came into office.
When I came into office, our economy was in crisis, Obama said.
The president then cited lower unemployment, private sector job growth, and deficit cuts as evidence of his administrations success. I can put my record against any leader around the world in terms of digging ourselves out of a terrible, almost unprecedented financial crisis, Obama said.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
None of what he said is true. But what else should I expect from a show that did a puff piece to save the Klinton campaign in the 90s and disgraced itself by trying to smear Bush with fake/forged documents?
This guy just lies and lies and lies and people just eat it up.
Stoned again?
Obama’s true opinion:
I am an amazing leader, bringing hope, prosperity and bounty not only to the American people, but the entire planet as well. I mean, didn’t I get the Nobel Prize for Peace for doing, er, uh, nothing? Just being me?
All of the above is true in my own mind but the world just does not feel it, yet...
No doubt Kim Jong Un firmly believes North Korea is better off now than when he took office, even though the North Korean people cannot feel it.
The BS meter ramped to full blowout.
Really! Where do we get some of what he is smoking?
Which county? There are many.
“You vill eat mein scheisse und you vill like it!”
He is partially right. The dependent class is doing fine.
The hard working middle class is getting hosed.
He means it’s good when he is king.
“I am a lineman for the county....”
This reminds me a bit of that wry appraisal of Wagner's music: that it is really not as bad as it sounds...

Obama .. A Clear and PRES__ENT Danger.
Better off compared to what? To the extent that anything in our economy is “better” today, it’s in spite of Obama not due to anything he or his administration has “done for us all.’ This is the most sorry-a$$ed recovery we’ve every experienced as a country. Even that worthless pri*k McLame would have gotten us farther than we are today, and Romney a lot better. At least Romney understands business and would have taken steps to encourage growth. Just saying ( now all the Romney haters can take a whack at me and run the laundry list of all the $hit that they think he’s bad on).
