I hate to say this (and hope it doesn't result in a double secret zot) but the
melody only (certainly not the lyrics) of the
Mexican national anthem is quite catchy and peppy. And I say this as a FReeper detesting that third world cesspool and the criminal invaders that it spawns. Give it a listen, it's actually a nice tune but from a horrendous country.

The Confederate Air Force, an organization dedicated to restoring vintage warplanes renamed itself the Commemorative Air Force.CAF's leadership is full of loons and most members are spoiled rich kids. Just my opinion.

I hate to break this to you, but the Deutschlandlied (first verse: "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles"; though they only ever sing the third) is the national anthem of Germany, and the national anthem of Russia since about 2001 uses the same melody as the USSR anthem, although they rewrote the words.

“Liberals” found something to complain about and conservatives didn’t recognize the danger in what seemed to be inane. Now that we know the dangers, it’s all on our shoulders - we can’t blame the “liberals” any more than we think Obama can blame Bush for his own failures.

Hate to say it as someone who is involved in such things, but...Commemorative is a better term since the organization represents any and all aircraft they can. Confederate just never really made sense. But that probably wasn't the reason the name was changed. It was most likely changed because the word "Confederate" is now "racist" according to the PC crowd.
