Sen. Jerry Moran introduces amendment to increase legal immigration numbers (Primary Moran in 16)

Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) has introduced an amendment to the unemployment extension bill currently being considered in the Senate that would add up to 50,000 new green cards per year with no offsets. His amendment includes the full language for S.310, the Startup Act 3.0, which would create 50,000 provisional green cards for foreign students who graduate with a degree in a STEM field and an additional 75,000 visas for entrepreneurs, which can also become permanent green cards.

This is the big fish that needs to be primaried. He is on the NRSC and obviously thinks his boss is Zuckerberg.

How about a 1,000 ft of a very tall cement wall in exchange for every green card with the condition that the 1,000ft of wall be built first before each grene card is issued....

That is the ONLY way and I would demand the ENTIRE wall be built FIRST!

It's rather interesting that this is coming from a RINO in an agricultural state. It tends to confirm what I've thought and still think about why the GOPe has most definitely not given up on ramming amnesty down our throats, in collusion with the 'rats. From one administration to the next, no matter which party has Congress and the White House, they go at it every time they get an "election" out of the way.

Here is a possible explanation for Moran’s reckless legislation.

Moran is Chairman of the Senate campaign Committee.

They need lots of money to re-elect their RINO’s.

Polls numbers are ambivalent about a Republican Senate.

Moran raises big money from corporations and the Chamber of Commerce by offering this legislation.

That’s my take on this seemingly inexplicable action.

We already issue 1.1 million green cards a year despite the fact that 20 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed.
