Statement from Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel:
Today my thoughts and prayers are with family and friends of the innocent victim who was murdered and the second innocent victim who was injured in violent knife attacks at Vaughan Foods in Moore, Oklahoma on September 25, 2014.
These were heinous criminal acts that were ended by the quick response of Oklahoma County Reserve Deputy Sheriff Mark Vaughan. I am extremely proud of the actions of Deputy Vaughan and I am convinced those actions saved the lives of several other employees. Mr. Vaughan, who serves as CEO of Vaughan Foods, was at work and when he was alerted that a man was attacking employees with a knife, Mark didn’t hesitate. He quickly responded.
Mark put an end to the threat by shooting the suspect and saving the life of a second victim who was being actively attacked by the suspect. There is every reason to believe that the lives of untold others were saved who would have been targeted by the suspect if it hadn’t been for Deputy Vaughan’s actions.
Mark Vaughan is an example of just how significant these men and women are to our citizens. Yesterday lives were saved and a criminal threat ended by the quick and unselfish response of Mark Vaughan.
Only one word can express my feelings of the actions of Reserve Deputy Mark Vaughan. Without regard to himself or his safety, yesterday Mark Vaughan became a “HERO” while doing the job he was sworn to do – protecting others.

At the risk of repeating myself, the liberals do not seem to get (despite 9/11, Fort Hood, etc.) that the war has already come to our shores.
This is perhaps the most frightening example of what the future portends in a world where ISIS is permitted to thrive. Convert or you will be beheaded.
Wonder how the gun control lobby will handle this one? Many more would have been killed were it not for the fact that the COO was permitted to bring his weapon into the workplace to use in self-defense.
Why, how much more at ease I feel about this beheading in Oklahoma after being reminded by liberals of the insidious atrocities carried out by the Christian church against witches and Jews in the Middle Ages. Plus, there's some really disturbing passages in the Bible if you weren't aware. Sure puts things in perspective.
Thanks, liberals, for reminding America that this murderous fiend in Oklahoma could have been just about ANY of us. In fact, we're really the ones to blame for the atrocious lack of mental health care in America's prisons, you know.
Why, we practically put the knife in this murderer's hands come to think of it. It's all fallout from the prison-for-profit industrial complex, didn't you know.

These kind of terror attacks do have an effect on people.
When I began to read about all the “knockout game”, I decided to change the gun I keep in my car. For years I kept a CZ-52 because it would penetrate well and was also cheap if it was stolen.
I now keep a fully loaded Browning Hi-power and two spare mags in the glove compartment. I also changed my walking stick from an aluminum one to a heavy “Cold Steel” blackthorne.
The area I live in is probably one of the last places for one of these attacks to occur but then so is Moore, OK. Without even consciously thinking about it, I now open my door in the morning with a pistol in my hand, and I tend to step back as I open it.
I hope many Americans begin to be more prepared for these animals even if the chance for an incident `is really very low.

ISIS said days ago that their supporters all over the world should just start randomly beheading people..guess this guy heard the message loud and clear..the media will NEVER report on this unless one of their family members is beheaded..the media since 9/11 has been protecting Muslims
