U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz says he's not sorry he spoke out in favor of Israel and the Jewish people at a Sept. 10 conference where he was shouted down and forced to leave the stage, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
He said he felt it important to honor his commitment to speak, especially about the plight of persecuted Christians in the Middle East, even as he was met with boos as he went after Hezbollah and Syrian President Bashar al- Assad.
Look, I anticipated that there were one or two radical speakers who I didnt expect would be happy with what I was saying, Cruz told World magazine Vote Now: Do You Approve Or Disapprove of President Obama's Job Performance? of his speech at the In Defense of Christians conference, held in Washington, D.C.
What I didnt understand was that a significant minority of the attendees there reflected the same bitter hatred towards Israel and the Jews," he said. "That surprised me. It disappointed me, but at the end of the day, we are called as Christians and Americans to speak the truth. That is what I endeavored to do.

Mine as well. This is a man that lives by his convictions.
Mine from an earlier thread:
Whatever such groups call themselves - either here or in the Middle East - they are NOT Christians in giving their saviors Jewish heritage their collective backhand.
I can certainly pity them up against islamist mad dogs, but as its plainly hussein soebarkah that has brought all this persecution about, in concert with our cowardly House, virtually nothing you or I do at this point is really going to matter to them, unfortuantely.
Perhaps in subscribing to some sort of Gnosticism the group that Cruz walked out on may well have convinced themselves that theyre Christian. Though I will never accept their brand of anti-Semitism regardless how they try to package and sell it.
CRUZ 2016!
Me too. I’m on Cruz control. It’s either him and someone similar, or I segue from mini-galt into “that crazy old man on the block no one ever sees, but you know he’s there.”
bttt
Add me sir!
Santorum, on the other hand, has NO backbone. He’s the political equivalent of Mr. Rogers.
Hopefully, he’ll be president in 2016.
Santorum is an ass.
BTTT
GO CRUZ!
Cruz is our best hope for 2016 (and beyond).
But if amnesty for 40+ million ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL INVADERA is spoken into law by the commie dicktator, even Cruz won’t be able to save America.
May God Bless and Keep Ted Cruz.
Names mean something.
Edward (French) “Warrior”
Cruz...(Spanish) “The Cross”
I mean...it could be just a coincidence but it is cool nonetheless.
Cruz would do credit to the White House, unlike pretty much everyone else,
Rick Santorum is pretty much in the same boat as Mitt Romney....enough already the people have spoken!!
