DENVER Republican Senate candidate Cory Gardner leads incumbent Democratic Sen. Mark Udall by a 47-45 percent margin in a survey released Thursday by Public Policy Polling, a firm that generally tends to favor left-leaning candidates.
Eight percent of respondents remain undecided with 40 days remaining until Election Day and just a couple of weeks until ballots are mailed out.
Interestingly, PPP asked respondents a number of issue-related questions.

Just sent Cory another donation, Udall was my Representative before he ran for Senate.
I used to tell him “Mark I didn’t vote for you father when I lived in AZ, I’m not voting for here in Colorado.
The wall to wall attack adds are getting old around here.
More good news from Colorado, though it’s within the margin of error. I think that Cory Gardner has a little bit of momentum.
I agree. CO and NH are looking good right now.
Mariners had bases loaded, no outs, bottom ninth. failed to score.
on to the 10th inning.
Tigers lose, but Royals lose to my Sox.
I didn’t realize the Mariners didn’t have a winning record at home, (39-40 pending this outcome), they can look back at that as the reason they’ll probably be golfing this October.
Udall often told the story of approaching a group of elderly gents in New Hampshire to say that he was Mo Udall and was running for president, only to receive the reply, “We know. We were just laughing about it.”
baseball tonite in SEA, 6 games over 6 hours tomorrow and 3 tiebreakers on Monday. I love it.
but I bet we see plenty of managerial incompetence over the next 5 days of elimination contests. At least Ron W is gone.
The Udalls should all be castrated, the damn Mormon Kennedys.
Disenfranchisement of the parasite class MUST be a top priority of the RIGHT WING POTUS elected in 2016.
The party is over.
TBS has the Yankees game on SUnday afternoon.
not one of the six important games.
all untelevised.
nobody watches baseball for the most part.
if I go to a sports bar on Monday afternoon to watch the Pirates - Cardinals ... place will be empty. even the playoffs are not a real big draw.
Google “live sports streams” and you can find pirate streams of any game.
You’d think ESPN would pick one up instead of showing the “sport” called “Nascar”.
Quinnipiac has Gardner +8 and also Beauprez beating Hickenlooper by 10.
Looks like Colorado is changing course. I hope it happens.
KC in the playoffs; first time since 1985.
In any sport, if you have a losing home record, you should not qualify for the playoffs.
Yes. yes.
Good 4 them. They face Oaktown in the WC game, damn tigers win the division.
Lester pitching for Oaktown, if they hadn’t traded Cespedes for him, their offense wouldn’t have collapsed and they might have won the division (or maybe not Angels are good).
Nats Zimmermann no hits the fish, only 1 base on balls. First no-no for the franchise since Dennis Marinez’s perfecto when they were the Expos. 5th no-no in history on the last day of the season.
There’s Romney’s 47% right there!
