If he made no attempt to show, or if his lawyer did not notify the judge that he was in surgery, that is not a reasonable excuse.

Judges do not like to be kept waiting.

Appearance in court is not a request, it is a demand. All it would have taken is simple communication with the court.

Some things cannot be fought in court, especially when judges share the same employer with the blm and reid.
