Massachusetts Republican gubernatorial candidate called FOX 25 political ace Sharman Sacchetti a “sweetheart” and all hell has broken loose. President Obama has made the same gaffe twice and yet he was not accused of waging a war on women. Howie asked was it really that big a deal.

I can see why someone would call her "sweetie." What's the big deal? If anything, it was a compliment.
The people who took “offense” had about as much chance to vote Republican as Hillary Clinton has to tell the truth about her sexuality.
If the worst people get defensive about is her looks, its much ado about nothin’.

I think the rule on this is that Democrats can say and do whatever they want. Bill and Hillary can mistreat women and its all.OK because they are good Democrats.
Republicans however, are fighting a war on women. So anything which can be construed as disrespect towards a female is part of the war on women. But, only if done by an evil Republican.
