" . . . harmful cultural norms that tell woman how they are expected to look and act . . . "
I wonder what she means by that? Who is she talking about? Cosmo? Playboy? The Catholic Church? Joel Osteen? The public school system? Popular movies? Rap music? Nightclub culture? Porn? TV sitcoms? Wheaton College? Hobby Lobby? Which of those cultural forces is enforcing the norm? Which is she talking about?

So what’s her excuse?
What’d you do, lady, save for boinking an even greater incompetent?
To: bestintxas
Men are equally oppressed and told how certain minorities of American society demand we act.
I treat women as ladies except at work.
In employment your job is meet a standard, irregardless of gender or race.

"harmful cultural norms that tell woman how they are expected to look and act"
Ok, First Lady, be specific. What norms are you talking about, and who is enforcing them, and what is your alternative? Is it wrong to expect women (or men) to act in a specific way, or at least to avoid certain behaviors? Are there no norms, no boundaries of acceptable behavior and appearance? Should young women be sleeping around, taking drugs, using profanities, using the "n" word? Should they be unwashed and unkempt and dirty?

In my field, sales, equality is demonstrably and measurably observed, as well, rewarded.
all others think they work at a clock factory and do nothing but make time, take far too many runs to Starbucks and look for any reason to leave early, while making excuses for their failure to objectively produce results.
Producers are rewarded.
Non Producers and under performers get to make knew friends and change their work environment.
Your gender, religious beliefs and color have nothing to do with bringing home the bacon.

Liberals are frustrated that American women believe in complete freedom to pursue happiness, including raising kids, loving their heterosexual male husbands, and avoiding high-pressure executive jobs and slime-ball politics.

Women here are still woefully underrepresented in our government?!?!?!
Not my fault.
Don't we have the right to vote for women?
Don't women have the right to run for office?
People vote for who they want. Who is she trying to fool?
Maybe it's all the anti-women statements the Dems say about people like Sarah Palin and Michelle Malkin....
