I didnt update my 4s to the iOS 8 cause I didnt have enough memory to add it. Oh, because Ive ordered a 6+ and by the time it arrives all this update stuff will be fixed and itll be ready to go! Connect to iTunes on your computer and do it that way. The space you need is much less. The amount of additional memory used by iOS 8 on the iPhone is only 740MB more than 7 after installation. It is the processing of the install without extra memory availability that requires swap space. . . being hooked to a computer provides the swap space.
