Obama makes light of New York traffic chaos he causes by saying 'it's actually pretty smooth for me'

....Obama joked today during a New York speech that he doesn't seem to have the traffic problems the city's residents are always complaining about.

'It's actually pretty smooth for me during the week,' Obama said, after playfully arguing that everyone in New York 'hypes' the traffic.

'I don't know what the problem is,' he told attendees of the Clinton Global Initiative's annual meeting. 'I haven't noticed.'

My daughter and I were watching “Top Gear”, the British car show, last Monday night. On it they were test driving a new McClaren (I think that was it).

Anyways, it is their version of a “hybrid”. It travels 6 miles on 125 “computer size” batteries, before needing a two hour charge. But you can switch it to the “gas powered generator” which powers the car and charges the battery. It would do over 300 mph on the “gas powered generator”.

Pretty impressive, but I couldn't stop laughing at the hypocrisy....I would call the generator an internal combustion engine, but what do I know??
