In the first bulletin, according to Bloomberg, US security officials warned federal and local police to watch for “homegrown violent extremists” who may be motivated to attack by airstrikes in Syria. In the second bulletin, the FBI and DHS assess that disgruntled and former employees pose a significant threat to US businesses due to their authorized access to sensitive information and the networks businesses rely on (no doubt inspired by today’s dreadful occurrences at UPS in Birmingham). It’s just a good thing all those local police forces have MRAPs, don’t you feel safer already? However, don’t forget, as The UK made clear, the definition of terrorist is a tricky one since even viewing ISIS propaganda constitutes a criminal offense.

Your assessment of the “majority of women”. You know that you are mostly referring to progressive and politically “independent” women. The vast majority of these drive a hard bargain and wouldn’t trade their freedoms for ..... SAFETY! alone. To close the deal, they also got free birth control.
No offense to conservative women or libertarian women (if there are any) out there. The foregoing comment only applies to progressives and political “independent” women (many of whom are actually quite dependent on their government entitlements).

Thats an interesting question, altho you didnt present it that way. Does the govt have the authority to suspend our Constitution? Since its a contract between us and them I say maybe not. It would have to be by mutual consent. Oh!!! There you have it...we allow the govt to govern my mutual consent. What a concept...so if we withdraw our consent then what? Do they point guns at us and demand we obey? I think they would...they do now. All at once we’ve gone from a constitutional republic to authoritarian state. Is that what Americans want? Even most liberals would balk, so I dont think so.
Sad but true, the police and the DHS will be about as useful as teats on a Hillary in preventing American deaths. They are more of a clean up on aisle 9 team.
Any fight against these people will be from an armed and polite populace.
My view is most of the time LE (and civil govt in general) creates the mess on aisle 9. Their solution for cleaning up always involves loss of liberty.
Yes, HOPEFULLY our armed and polite society will step up...
