All of this doesn't even raise an eyebrow in the justice dept.
Now why one earth would anyone consider this costly prosecution of a single individual, who also happens to be a critic of the state, a 'vindictive abuse of power'?
with all the democrats who have been sentenced for this~! (he should be very lonely)
Not my favorite quasi conservative but railroaded
2016: Obama's Reeducation.
.
Since Obama accepted tens of millions—maybe hundreds of millions—in campaign donations from foreigners, how many centuries will Obama be spending in jail?
In his first thirty seconds as President, Cruz should have Obama in chains. In the next thirty seconds, he should pardon D’Souza and other political prisoners.
Someone else posted he only gets probation. Which is it?
Guantanamo?
. "And Bill Ayers and Bernedine Dohrn, terrorist bombers, still walk the streets free as a bird."
.
Eight months working in a consignment center, that’s bad.

Obama critic D’Souza spared prison for violating election law

Political prisoner....
can he have political communication with the outside world?
seems he is a political prisoner rather than legal prisoner.
note: cricket sounds from amnesty international....
CongressRAT Charlie Rangle did far worse, avoiding taxes on a million doallar mansion he owns in the Dominican Republic, yet he only got censored. No jail time, no community service, no nothing. Got away Scott free.

#1)For the first eight months of his probation term, DSouza will have to live in a community confinement center in San Diego,..”
Where the Feds can watch him
#2) “..Judge Richard Berman, who also fined DSouza $30,000
Which is 50% over the alledged amount of the illegal donation to campaign funds
#3)”..and directed him to undergo therapeutic counseling. Which means supervised state-sponsored indocrination classes, which he must pass.
#4”.. DSouza will also have to perform one day per week of community service during his probation term
which means that they can keep him silenced for 5 years.
Any violation of community service and he can be considered ‘in violation’ of the terms of sentancing, and could be returned to Fed Court
and ‘re-sentanced’ for any failure to fully comply with community service directive.
Thus , the sentancing is designed to ‘box him in’ with rules and regulations, and to quiet his voice for 5 years.
While at first look this judicial determination looks humane , it is designed to muffle his criticism .

Eric Holder was cited for CONTEMPT OF CONGRESS for his role in covering up Fast and Furious (where MANY PEOPLE DIED including an American Law Enforcement Officer ), and guess what? He’s still Attorney General !!
What EXACTLY does Contempt of Congress get you?
Five years probation, with the first eight months served in "community detention." That means he can leave during the day to go to work, church and doctor's appointments, but sleeps every night in a halfway house (basically, a large dorm in an old building; no bars on the windows and minimal security).
"Therapeutic counseling" isn't "indoctrination classes." The term, and the other features of the sentence, are explained in this blog post by Ken White, an experienced federal criminal lawyer.
I will just consider Federal prosecutors or government people coming after me to be members of a criminal gang, and deal with them accordingly...
LOL!
