Why does the author think her run ended? There is a core of Democrats who will vote for her BECAUSE of her her fanatic statist agenda. The only thing that could put those people off would be if she promised to repeal local gun control.
It is an unfortunate fact that because of the government wealth transfer program there is a significant segment of the population that hates freedom, hates the constitution, hates productive americans even though they parasitizes those of us who work, hates work and hates the thought of even a limp wristed moderate republican getting in office to potentially slow down the flow of plunder to their pockets.
Davis still appeals to these people, and if the last presidential election was anything to go by they are about 51% of the population.
