A group of Ukrainian historians has launched a website "Educational program. Historic Front ", which debunk the myths created by Russian propaganda. Scientists have denied more than 50 distortion of Ukrainian history and popular stereotypes created by Russian propaganda.

In the project team consists of about 20 historians from the Institute of History of Ukraine National Academy of Sciences, Kiev National University. Shevchenko, Ukrainian Institute of Archeology and others. One of the authors of the project historian Cyril Galusko told "New time", which is mainly the myths of Russian propaganda devoted to such themes: the Crimea, and the New Russia - native Russian territory; Ukraine - an artificial entity, with no history before 1991; territory of Ukraine - a gift or kings, or the Bolshevik leaders; Ukrainians - the people of the traitor who, during the Second World collaborated with the Nazis and did not contribute to the victory.

Ukrainian historians have launched a website where debunk the myths of Russian propaganda

Articles on the site debunk many popular social consensus. For example, information that Russia was forced to enter the First World War is not true. In fact, Russia was one of the main instigators of the European war. But the conduct of the war is not the quality and quantity and inept management of the economy led to the revolution and the subsequent civil war in her country.

Recently published on AIN.UA video lectures of Professor Valery MGIMO Nightingale, where he talked about the theory and practice of information warfare and mediamanipulirovanii in the Russian media.

wetphoenix,

To deny that the Russians have a long history of making sh!t up and passing it off as history is asinine. All nations have pious myths (e.g. George Washington and the cherry tree), but some nations like Russia have literally made up supposed historical events, falsified “historic” documents and textbooks, censored books, destroyed documents and archives of historic artifacts to avoid embarrassment or questions from their own people. Hence, China routinely avoids questions about the fact that the western silk road was dominated by white people (the Tocharians) centuries ago by excavating Tocharian mummies, removing their heads, reburying them, and then allowing western archaeologists to then dig them up as if discovering them for the first time.
