The Islamic State captured Mosul, Iraq's second-largest city, in July, and within the month, reports surged that the jihadist terror group had either occupied or destroyed every Christian institution in the city. Not just the Christian legacy is threatened by their presence, however-- thousands of years of civilization may be destroyed under the group's reign of terror.

Maybe you haven't been following along. There has been a lot of outrage about these atrocities. You think everybody's just upset about the artifacts? The stateside outrage against the atrocities didn't get any "traction" until partisan journalists were becoming victims. A family or a congregation decapitated meant nothing but ONE journalist, whoaaaaah!

I agree. In my mind I was thinking about the left who appears to ignore the islamics atrocities but weeps over this....it didn’t write that way.
