Do you know anything about John Wayne in RKO’s “Invisible Army”? It will be released next year as "Back to Bataan." (trailer). The Bosley Crowther review runs on September 13, 1945, so we will just miss it.

Back to Bataan! Now that was a movie!
I saw it as a child with my father. I made him wait to leave until I could see once more the frightening scene in which the Japanese soldier beats up the little Philippine boy with his fists. As a small child, I couldn't believe that a grown man would do that; I was struggling to understand. BTW--the little boy was Desi Arnaz.
