Give’m the opportunity and let them flunk out. It will make the point much better than anything you could ever say.

They won’t flunk out. Alternative standards will be instituted or standards will be lowered across the board. You have to understand how these people think. They don’t take “no” for an answer.

In their mind, gender is a social construct which, with a little social engineering, can be overcome and male and female will be equal.

Except, that is not what will happen. They will come up with testing that will be easier for women to pass. The physical fitness testing will be watered down. This isn't about women doing the same job as men; this is about women getting the same position as a man; but, with different and less demanding qualifications.

Only if that is allowed to happen, which I seriously doubt. I expect standards will be lowered again and again until many women can succeed. I imagine we will have female Rangers outdoing males and our wonderful media will not tell us they have different qualifications. I just hope and pray this can be undone by a future administration, but it is usually impossible to put the horse back in the barn.

Absolutely correct - provided they don’t somehow alter the requirements. A friend has started Ranger School twice but barely missed the initial physical requirements, and he is in peak condition. It will be a very unique woman who can qualify - as long as they don’t change the requirements.

“Give’m the opportunity and let them flunk out.”

The idea with these “Let’s include women!” programs is that standards are ALWAYS lowered until women do pass.

They won’t flunk out.

Most will quit—just like men, but a few will be allowed to graduate no matter what. Political theater played out on a huge scale. Cost and consequences be damned.
