Considering what’s been going on in Syria over the last few years (including the official emergence of ISIS), and after the questionable scrutiny in giving thousands of visas to so-called immigrant-children refugees, I’m not sure this is a good idea.

Its gone on for decades. We ended up with plenty of Iraqis in this country after the first gulf war.
Its a disastrous policy but it won’t change while we continue to look at it when its convenient.

Considering the fiasco on the Mexican border, where thousands of children were admitted without restriction, this “compassionate” asylum of still unknown thousands of Syrian refugees, of unknown and undefined allegiances, would be much like the refugees from Somalia that flooded to Minnesota, and from which now the fighters of ISIS are being widely recruited.
We would be importing the ISIS regime’s own fifth column.
