Eco-alarmism guru Al Gore experienced some technical difficulties during a speech on global warming, the timing of which could not have been more ironic. Shortly after Gore began quoting Jesus from the book of Luke, his mic went silent just as he shouted the word hypocrite.

He’s a P.O.S.
GOD has had it with the lies told by ALGORE. . . .
A hypocrite is someone who dismisses religion as a “faith tradition” yet attempts to use religion to promote his agenda.
Al Gore quoting scripture.....still married to Tipper but now dating another wacko environmentalist. God gave him a sign but I’m sure he is too blind to see it.
the massage king flunked out of theology school but he did spend a night at a Holiday Inn Express
Yes, even TN had enough of Gore-isms in 2000.
Almost as good as a bolt of lightning.
Exactly. When Al Gore starts quoting scripture, one must be careful not to be too close to him, for fear of getting zapped with him by a bolt of lightning. If there ever was a dictionary definition of blasphemy, his picture would be there.
It’s not nice to mess with G_D!
Are there Christians who call it “the book of Luke,” rather than “the gospel of Luke”?
Journalists.
The organizers invited an Evangelical Christian, a Jewish Rabbi, and a Muslim Imam to speak (I know, sounds like a bar joke, but it's true).
The Jewish Rabbi went first (he was also a military chaplain). He was outstanding. He sang part of the Torah in Hebrew, and it was amazing. The Hebrew sounded like magic as he sang in a beautiful voice, and then he preached about the Psalms of David.
The Imam was next on stage, and he started to spew about how Americans were "ignorant" of the "real Islam", about how "Islam meant peace" and the "5 pillars of Islam." As he went on, his voice became more hostile and insolent.
Just then, the mike cut out. He continued to spew for about a minute or so, before he realized that most in the audience could barely hear him. He shot darts of angry glances towards the side stage and the organizers of the event. A couple of people rushed to the PA system amp and tried to fix things. Finally, his rant was over, and suddenly the mike came back on as he said his final word.
I looked over at the Rabbi, who sat there, his face without expression, but I knew that inside, he must have been smiling.
Ping to #13.
