the number of individuals filing for initial jobless benefits in the week ending September 13 decreased by 36,000 to a seasonally adjusted 280,000 from the previous week’s revised total of 316,000. Analysts had expected jobless claims to fall by 11,000 to 305,000 last week. Continuing jobless claims in the week ended September 6 fell to 2.429...How does that saying go? Oh, yeah. There are lies, damned lies, and then there are statistics.

This is interesting propaganda. Patently untrue, incomplete, laced with cooked books and utterly unreliable.
If X represents “working workers”
If X is decreasing as a percentage of Y which represents available workers
And if new jobless claims drop would it not follow that to file a claim you have to be eligible to do so? Well if the pool of X is constantly shrinking the pool of people who can claim unemployment also shrinks.
I don’t know. People are inherently stupid and ill-educated, or they don’t care that they are gargling government urine on a daily basis, or they are so apathetic that no matter what offenses of deceit and corruption are paraded before them, they don’t care. They really just must not care.
