Yes, it seemed to me at the time that he didn’t support the Iranians who protested in support of freedom because Iran was already under sharia - which (worldwide sharia) is part of the “Muslim agenda” that the Egyptian ambassador in 2010 said Obama had privately said he would get actively involved in pushing once he got Obamacare passed. Since they were already sharia as Obama had promised the Muslim world he would work toward, Iran didn’t need any “fixing”, in Obama’s eyes. It was just the Mideast regimes that had been fighting Islamist terrorists that he had to take out. That’s why our own regime agitated for “Arab Spring”. And IIRC those who were pushing that stated outright that there would also be an “American Spring” eventually...
