And that tells you a lot about Obama's and the liberal mindset. To them gun ownership is just some strange out-dated "tradition" that has long outlived its usefulness, and although they would love to just do away with it entirely they realize that there are still far too many un-hip, un-cool old "fuddy-duddies" clinging to that "tradition". So they just have to grit their teeth and put up with it.
WOW! I love it! I finally agree with President Barack Obama!
Our traditions, initiated in the 1700's, was to issue state-of-the-art army weapons to the citizens, allowing them to keep and bear the finest and most advanced weapons. Back then, it was muskets and cannon, but now...? Well, I am placing my order for the following:
F2000 full auto in 5.56mm, bullpup with Integral infrared laser sight.
TrackingPoint rifle with smart scope, based upon the M1A tank targeting system, allowing for near 100% accuracy at 1000 yards.
40MM Automatic Grenade Launcher.
THANKS, BARACK! I have a few more requests, but this will get me started.
Never thought I'd agree with this guy, but there you go.
check is in the Mail!
What would that muslim kenyan know about American traditions?
I’m at the point where I don’t even want to go on the nearby military base. My state trusts me to carry a concealed weapon, but the military, which has known me far longer, doesn’t. And we know from Ft Hood, et al, ad nauseum, that gun-free zones are idiotic.
Hey that is an approach Obama could try with ISIL!
Obama no doubt believes in the Islamic `tradition’ that possession of weapons is strictly forbidden for “infidels” and that only Muslims may be armed in order to enforce Shariah rule.
It’s in the Koran.
Freedom is our tradition.
I’m for that too Barry. Gun reforms that respect our traditions would be no background checks at all. Guns allowed everywhere and anywhere except the saloon and church. Open carry everywhere. Lets get back to tradition as soon as possible.
Ah, I remember those days when there was still LIBERTY in the USA! I remember, as a kid, drooling over those adds and saying...”I’m gonna get me one of those when I grow up!”
Unfortunately the 1968 GCA was passed before I had saved enough to get one. Or two, or three.
Obama wasn’t born and raised in America. (Not going in to wether or not he was born in Hawaii (personally I doubt he was) because it doesn’t matter because 1960 Hawaii is far from “American”.)
He was born to a round heeled mom in the least American state. Moved around from commie to commie in Muslim cesspools and raised by queers, commies, and pedophiles while his parents abandoned him.
Then again that’s the traditions he’s use to.
I do not recognize this man as being my fellow American. Maybe that is just me and I have fallen behind the times. The first indication to me that he was not a fellow American was during his first campaign for Presidency when his Campaign people stated, after repeatedly refusing the request, that, ok, they will have him debate John McCain,......... on July the Fourth. Does anyone else remember that?
His idea of tradition is Stalin.
I’m a big fan of gun reforms that respect American traditions. Let’s start with “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”. In the name of reform, we need to repeal almost every gun law that follows the ‘prior restraint’ model. I’m okay with enhanced penalties for armed robbery with a firearm or other uses of guns in violent crime, but we need reform that eliminates all laws infringing on these basic, God-given human rights.
Did you happen to see Hannity [ugh!, I know] last night, interviewing Hussein’s arrogant brother?
FU
Have I missed something? Have Heller & McDonald been reversed and nobody told me about it? Do USSC decisions no longer mean anything?
Sadly, there is growing DISrespect in regards to the 2nd Amendment and to any gun-related fed court decision, including that coming from the Supremes.
