The first sponsor has backed away from its involvement with the NFL amid the chaos that has enveloped the league over the past week.
On Monday night, hours after its logo appeared on the banner behind Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman as he explained the team's decision to play running back Adrian Peterson in the near future, hotel chain Radisson announced it was suspending its sponsorship with the team.

Once again, Rush was right. He’s been harping on the ‘Chickification’ of the NFL for a decade, now.
Finally coming to fruition. Sad.
When even the NFL won’t, ‘Man Up’ you’ve got to see that all is lost.
Seriously. Must politics be injected into EVERY aspect of our lives? Thanks again, Socialist Democrats! Everything you touch turns to chit.
That didn’t take long at all.
Once they started penalizing taunting, wearing pink, using ladies for announcers (or something that looks that way), requiring a gay player, and now this garbage...
...it gets tough to stay a fan.
Radisson just drew negative attention to itself....who knew that Radisson was a sponsor???

Raddisson is part of the Carlson Hotel chain. I travel a lot for business. I don’t care who they sponsor but they get two thumbs down from me.
This guy needs to concentrate on making their hotels better places to stay than political correctness.
Carlson was a promo group.
Remember Gold Bond stamps ?
Someone please advise me here.
If the cable company goes to ala carte pricing and a user does NOT want to pay to watch NFL and does NOT subscribe to that specific offering or anything that does carry those broadcasts...
Wouldn’t the cost of the other cable channels go down (drastically) and the overall bill also go down even more if one would not be subject to paying for foreign language channels, lib green channels, etc?
Also, would the other channels have to price their subscriptions according to how many people actually sign up for that channel?
.
Radisson properties are dumps.
If you choose to believe what is on Wikipedia, there is info here including legislation proposed by John McCain:

It is tough to comment on the unknown but I think the cable companies would ultimately have the say in the matter. Would they offer ESPN for $5 a month and History for $1 and give the consumer the choice? Some of these channels are owned by the same company and my guess is they would have a large say in the matter, too.
