Now granted, it's probably not the feds, or we'd have heard of more cases of this (unless it's a trial balloon to see what their masters will take sitting down), but who the heck does ANY gover-drone at ANY level think they are to be issuing diktats like these???? "Sorry for any inconvenience", hell. Should be more like "I'm so sorry for my limitless arrogance in trying to place myself ahead of these children's rightful guardians, I'll be committing seppuku in front of the flagpole at 3:00pm. This has been the rule in school districts in my area for years already.

The justification in one town given was that children with peanut (or other) allergies had to be segregated in school cafeterias. The school officials determined that that was a form of discrimination and so required all students it purchase lunches in the facility and home made lunches were then forbidden.

Of course that is nonsense, but that is how it is done in the Peoples Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

I just revisited this post and read the actual letter... and I am back to report what I believe the REAL problem is. The handwritten note preceding ghe form letter is addressed to "Ms. Brooks". PROBLEM IS RIGHT THERE. It should be addressed to a "Mrs. Somebody". There needs to be a father and a husband involved here that is willing to drive down to the school and go all "Uncle Buck" on these braindead queen bees... and then be sure to be on hand at every School Board and PTA meeting to reinforce exactly how it's gonna be.

I want a *name* and the name of the school before I buy into this. I’ve been seeing a lot of false stories lately aimed at making conservatives look like idiots. IF this is true it is reprehensible and must not stand. But I want real names before I believe it.

They want that Government money by forcing it. Flip-them, All Parents should send
lunches and not force their kids to eat Government sponsored junk.

With Obamacare as the law of the land, what will happen to any doctor who helps too many people escape the school lunch? I can see a visit from the licensing board.
