MEEEEEEE!!!!!
Okay, we get it, Chuck Todd. You are the new host of Meet The Press but does that mean you will now hog every interview? After all, the president of NBC News, Deborah Turness, promised a return to the original format of MTP in which the guests would be interviewed by a panel, not just the host. Therefore your humble correspondent was disappointed when he watched Chuck interview the guests solo today while the panel merely chit chatted among themselves. Here is the unkept promise of a MTP format change made by Turness:

Hey PJ I have take your word for it they put it on at 5am in the morning
I cant explain it exactly, but visually, I find Todd difficult to watch. Not weird like Trivago-guy, but there’s something about him, sloppy looking is the best description I can up with.
Lol...well done
Anyone who wants to see or hear up-chuck Todd on anything is a loser.
Many interviewees are probably wary of facing five interviewers, including one ‘conservative’ representative, competing with each other on gotcha questions.
It’s much safer to say. “I’ll come on for a solo interview.”
Like all serious journalists he should be judged by one clear standard:
Is he appealing to stupid, malleable people who have a few EBT stamps and welfare dollars to be parted from?
Dumb sluts rule!
Its much safer to say. Ill come on for a solo interview.
Fundamentally journalism (which is part, but not all of, the press) is inherently opposed to liberalism (which is the opposite of what they call liberalism). Thus, any interview with a journalist interrogating a conservative is inherently adversarial. Thats bad enough, but when the interview is taped, edited, and then broadcast, the result is always terrible for the conservative. So if you feel the need to be interviewed, your priority should be that the interview be live, not how many interrogators there are.
My thoughts were more along the line that a live panel of interviewers might make a liberal guest have to answer more uncomfortable questions than they are used to.
I don’t think they give conservative guests the privilege of solo interviews. I can’t think of any in recent memory.
