I would argue that to extrapolate the radical views of those you noted to all of Islam is illustrative of true ignorance.
To compare 0.0001% of Christians (snake handlers) with the Islamic State is idiotic.
Do snake handlers control a territory the size of Arkansas? Do they have tens of thousands of armed fighters chopping heads off unbelievers in snake handling?
Do a third of all Christians polled say that they support the snake handlers, including beheading non-snake-handlers?
