Joel Gehrkes report that Harry Reid is urging President Obama to go real big when he decrees his lawless amnesty after the election echoes a comment made to BuzzFeed over the weekend by Angela Kelley, head of immigration policy at the Center for American Progress:
Kelley said news of the delay Saturday morning was like a sucker punch for activists and warned the White House will have to rebuild its relationships with Latino groups now. She said activists will now expect sweeping executive actions come the fall.
If you think a guys going propose to you and he suddenly says, Oh, Im going to do it in a couple of months, you want a 2-carat ring instead of a 1-carat ring, she said.
Apart from the fact that this sounds uncomfortably like Ray Rices relationship with his wife, what would the 2-carat ring look like? Up to now, boosters of lawless amnesty have been talking about 3, 4, or 5 million illegal aliens being given work cards, Social Security numbers, drivers licenses, etc. as a result of Obamas prospective edict. The Migration Policy Institute the main think tank of the immigration-expansionist movement that nonetheless does useful work has estimated that there are about 4.2 million illegal aliens who are either (or both) the spouses of U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents, or the parents of minor children who are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
Since thats in the range of what the anti-borders crowd was expecting to be lawlessly amnestied before their recent disappointment, they must expect millions more to be amnestied by the new end-of-year deadline. One way to expand the number would be to include illegal aliens who are the parents of adult U.S. citizens; MPI estimates there are about 560,000 of them. Or, amnesty could be extended to illegal aliens who join the military; An earlier MPI report estimated the number of illegal aliens who might have gotten amnesty through the DREAM Acts military service provisions at less than 31,000, and even that was described as generous given the high standards for enlistment.
These additional amnesty numbers are puny from the open-borders perspective, barely rhinestones. A more likely way to go real big would be to amnesty all the illegals whove been here for, say, five years; MPI estimates that number (minus those already eligible for DACA, the presidents previous lawless amnesty for DREAMers) would be 8.5 million. Add the 400,000 parents or spouses of U.S. citizens/LPRs whove been here less than five years, and you get almost 9 million possible recipients, double the original expectation.
So, Kelleys image of a 2-carat ring replacing the formerly promised 1-carat diamond might be apt after all.
“Immigration reform” isn’t just about the 50 million, aka “11 million” illegal alien invaders who are already here. It’s about permanently opening the borders to every freeloader on the planet.
Obama plans on giving amnesty to anyone who will sign a Democrat voter registration card.
I say the above for this reason: The pro-amnesty people demand that President Obama give work visas to at least 8,000,000+ illegals.
But many of these 8,000,000 illegals have husbands/wives and children.
So my point is: Pro-amnesty people are not really talking about 8,000,000 illegals, because they know in their hearts that they are really talking about more like 24,000,000 illegals----3 times 8,000,000 illegals--- who will eventually get AMNESTY when President Obama takes his pen and quickly signs his executive order in a few weeks.
Why do I use the number of 24,000,000 illegals? I do so for the following reasons:
1. Obviously, illegal immigrant men need their wives and children to keep them company.
2. And illegal immigrant women need their husbands to help them with the children.
3. Also, these illegal immigrants with their new work visas will now have no fear that immigration agents will be coming to their home to check to see how many in the household besides the bread winner are here illegally.<>
4. So I believe that multiplying 8,000,000 illegals by 3 is a conservative estimate, when we take into consideration all the wives, husbands, and children in the immediate families who will also benefit when the main family breadwinner finally gets his/her precious work visa.
5. Again, when President Obama quickly signs his executive order soon after the mid-term elections, he will NOT be giving amnesty to just 8,000,000 illegals as the pro-amnesty people want us to believe.
6. Rather, when the smoke clears, anti-amnesty people will wake up one morning and realize that the pro-amnesty people and President Obama have pulled off one of the biggest scams in history and really gave amnesty to 24,000,000 illegals, not 8,000,000 illegals as President will claim when he signs his execuive order soon after the mid-term elections.
NOTE: 'Because it was the right thing to do." This is Obama's favorite phrase when he wants to justify his decision on a controversial subject like illegal immigration.
It is as if Obama wants us to believe that his decision is divinely inspired and comes from God himself. What a bunch of crap.
So be prepared to hear Obama's phrase---"Because it was the right thing to do"---over and over after Obama signs the worst executive order ever, because President Obama will be giving amnesty to not 8,000,000 illegals as Obama will claim when he signs the order, but to 24,000,000 illegals. Sick. Sick.
Illegals should of learned from if you like your dr you can keep your dr,keep your healthcare plan Obama lied about every aspect of obamacare.Obama likes to bypass congress and the hispanic vote matters not to him.He has his pen and paper and likes to act alone.
