As heavy lobbying by the hospital industry intersects with immediate political considerations, a growing number of Republican governors are caving in to Medicaid expansion through President Obama

ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND FOLKS.... FOR THOSE OF YOU WHOSE GOVERNORS ARE THINKING OF EXPANDING MEDICAID.
The federal government only fully pays for the Medicaid expansion through 2016.
After that point, states will have to start paying for a portion of the expansion, eventually covering 10 percent of its cost.
Its worth keeping in mind that Medicaid is already a major burden on state budgets. In fiscal 2013, before the implementation of Obamacare, nearly one-quarter of total state expenditures went to Medicaid more than any other spending category, according to the National Association of State Budget Officers.
EXPECT YOUR TAXES TO GO UP AFTER 2016 (OR EXPECT YOUR STATE TO START BORROWING MORE MONEY TO PAY FOR THIS EXPANSION ).
Is this more of what we have to look forward to, with Republicans taking the senate?
They are not caving, the Republican leadership supported this law from day one, and they will do all in their power to make sure it is never repealed.
I’ll never link up to Wapoo. My question is who wrote the line “In the process they are imposing massive and unnecessary financial burdens on taxpayers”? Kline, from Wapoo ? Or someone from The Washington Examiner ?
If it was Kline I’m surprized it passed by a Wapoo editor playing with his editorial WE-WE.
