Collectivism is not about eliminating poverty; it is about eliminating wealth. And ultimately it is about power.
Ping.
Look out birds, it's going to get rough...
The liberal mentality:
ISIS starting Holocaust 2 - OK
Iran building nukes - OK
Mass invasion at the borders - OK
Highly questionable man made global warming - NOT OK!!!
#YouMightBeALiberal if you love the environment so much, you are willing to kill birds with wind farms.
It’s not about ‘global warming’.
It’s about destroying the American economy ... and thereby destroying the West.
0bama wants to turn American into a third-world pesthole like his beloved native Kenya.
BTW, where did Congress get the authority to create an “Environmental Protection Agency”, anyway?
the poor are already On Board....Its the “ever-shrinking middle class”..that these pukes are after.
Evidently solar is just as bad.
The chirp heard round the world...
Evidently solar is just as bad.
I should clarify that. The reflective mirrors and collector type of solar energy production that is.
Nixon did it.
Time to go solar.
If every roof was fitted with solar cells and collectors of today’s technology it would have cost less than destroying Saddam’s Iraq,AND provide quite a lot of energy. BUT there would have been a lot of hazardous waste from the manufacturing of those solar cells, and some other negatives. It still might have been a better long term investment.
NOTHING is free.
Wait until the commie libs find out that there isn’t any electricity to recharge their electric cars and iPhones. Thanks Barry! “Progressing” back to the Stone Age!
OK ...
Where did Nixon get the authority to establish an “Environmental Protection Agency”?
Where did Congress get the authority to emit the several layers of legislation that Nixon created the EPA to oversee?
Where they have since the original founders died - from themselves.
Exactly ...
Our government operates largely on stolen power, and large sections of it are wholly illegitimate.
Congress recognized the potency of the issue in late 1969 by passing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This statute recast the government’s role: formerly the conservator of wilderness, it now became the protector of earth, air, land, and water. The law declared Congressional intent to “create and maintain conditions under which man and nature can exist in productive harmony,” and to “assure for all Americans safe, healthful, productive, esthetically and culturally pleasing surroundings.” Henceforth, all federal agencies planning projects bearing on the environment were compelled to submit reports accounting for the likely consequences—the now famous Environmental Impact Statements (EISs). Secondly, NEPA directed the President to assemble in his Cabinet a Council on Environmental Quality.
