This guy sounds like a very prudent fellow. I won’t go to any event where the crowd is 70% black. Considering the incidence of gang violence and criminality in the black community, plus the current anti-white climate, there’s not a chance that I would expose my family to this kind of event. I’ll stick to Hockey.

This e-mail sounds like a coherent and thoughtful business correspondence with regards to marketing and revenue.
I can’t speak to the validity of his “theory” as I know nothing about the situation. But his thoughts seem strictly business. The guy is in a business that needs to be profitable.
This was no more than a businessman discussing marketing demographics. Had it been the other way around, and they were discussing attracting more blacks or under 50 folks or women, there would probably be no problem. It’s the usual double standard.

In a “normal” world, there is nothing offensive about what he’s saying. Based on what I see, he’s just trying to increase patronage at the arena and any smart businessman would look at any and all stats that might affect that.
That being said, the arena apparently does much to attract a black audience vs. being a bit more moderate/neutral in their approach vis a vis the “music” (hip hop doesn’t qualify in my book, but whatever) and the other events...something I’m sure many “affluent” white folks don’t find appealing. Thus, they don’t come.
Btw, I don’t fancy BB at all...never got into it.
