If you ever have the strange desire to watch a couple of liberals devolve into an intellectual wasteland of platitudes and hypocrisy, just mention Hobby Lobby. During a recent TV special with Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Peoples Republic of Massachusetts), Paul Krugman waded into the realm of idiocy (it was a short trip for him) while discussing corporate personhood, and the GOPs desire to push us back to 1894.
Of course, this raises a few questions: If corporations arent people, then why should we expect businesses to exercise economic patriotism in their tax dealings? I mean heck, I guess we shouldnt care if a company is inclusive, or socially conscious
After all, unlike people, corporations apparently dont have the right to make moral or ethical decisions in how they conduct business, right Krugman? I guess Bernie Madoff should be let out of jail after all, it was his company that stole millions, right?

Yes he is a joke. The Nobel Prize folks have severely damaged any credibility they once had by awarding prizes to idiots like Gore, Obama, Carter and Krugman.
I’m not going to read anything by Krugman, but if he is referring to Plessy v. Ferguson (ironic case name, huh?), which established “separate but equal” as constitutional, then it was in force until 1954, when Republican judges led the way to getting rid of it, during a Republican administration. Anyone wanting to go back to that would want to go back to 1954. Of course, the only ones who EVER wanted separate but equal were Democrats. No Republicans then or now supported it.
What years did Judge Roy Bean—”The Hanging Judge” sit on the bench?
Can we bring him back???
If only!
Well, to be fair, the democrats want to put us back to ‘1984’.
Had he said “1984” (the year, not the book), I might not disagree. I’d love to return to 1984. I had a great time.
Meanwhile, the Democrats want to push us to 1958 - Russia, 1958.
How about 1789, constitutionally speaking?
I’ll take 1775 when the Revolution was nigh.
“The GOP Wants to Pull Us Back to 1894”
The good things about 1894 are:
No one talked nonsense about global warming.
Rap music hadn’t been invented yet.
No Federal income tax.
The Democrats, however, would like to see us go back to 1854.
Since they are the party of slavery and the party that was strongly against the Civil Rights bill....
...it's kinda like a Ferguson rioter wearing a Che T shirt
