Should Mitch McConnell Be Next Senate Majority Leader? Cruz Won’t Say

In an interview with ABC News, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, predicted his party would reclaim the Democratic-controlled Senate in November, but he declined to endorse current Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., as the party leader should there be a transfer of power in the upper chamber of Congress.

. . . . .

But when asked if he would endorse McConnell — currently embroiled in a tight race for his Kentucky Senate seat — as Senate majority leader, the Texas Republican said that is a decision that would be made “when the time is right.”

“Well, that will be a decision for the conference to make, but I am confident we will have a new majority leader,” he said.

Are you saying that the liberal Republican McConnell, who has supported Reid's liberal agenda as the Senate Minority leader, can't do more harm than anyone else that might get elected and support a liberal agenda?

Are you calling me a dumbass? Do you have anything to say besides a personal attack?

No, I don't suppose you do.

Republicans, especially Mitch McConnell aren't always really conservatives, in fact, they may be liberals, supporting the agenda of Harry Reid with their cloture votes.

Go play in traffic.

Republicans are just just as bad when they support the liberal agenda, and shouldn't be supported.

I do bot know why you continue to post to me.
You already know that you and I will never agree on this matter.
YES!
I would rather see a RINO in the senate than a democrat.

Do you hope that Alison Grimes will beat Mitch McConnell?

All statist back stabbers ought to be run out of Washington DC on a rail. They are killing our country. Don't' you agree?

Should Mitch McConnell Be Next Senate Majority Leader?

Obviously not.

But I nevertheless hope he beats Grimes!

Because, without a GOP majority, the question will be irrelevant. Dingy Harry will still be the Majority Leader and will continue to keep GOP legislation off Zero's desk and save the 'Rat senators from having to vote on conservative bills.

All you offer here is name calling.
Nothing more. Because you cannot understand that you have to have more
than voting against as a strategy. You have to give reasons to vote for.
Some people enjoy being rained on and dumped on.
It turns them on. Floats their boat.
You are that type of person.

What you call a RINO, to mislead, is actually a liberal, in support of the liberal agenda approved by Harry Reid.

McConnell supported getting rid of the debt limit.

McConnell provided the critical cloture votes to fund obamacare.

You want people to vote for a liberal republican.

Got it.

I will continue to point that out, forever and ever, until my breath dies within me, or I get a zot.

How about Ted Cruz, as the next Senate Majority Leader?

Although he would be my first choice, I doubt they would elect him.

Then by all means vote proudly for your RINO! Just don't shed a tear or jump up and down screaming when we won't join you.

Cornyn is next in line. Ask him, and he'll tell you all about it.

He's another liberal republican that I can actually do something about.

That liberal bastard can whistle for his supper, and I still won't vote for him in the general election.

Which is worse? A RINO or a Democrat? One pretends to be something he isn’t and is a deceiver who will betray you often at the worst times. With the other you know exactly where he stands. Personally I’d rather know who the enemy from the gitgo is rather than have one pretend to stand for the things I value and say all the right things then turn around and stab me in the back (usually repeatedly).
