Heaven forbid that the children are expected to behave and do what they are told, or that a school try and establish order. Aren't we always complaining that students are out of control? At our private Christian school that employs the classical model for education, the children aren't allowed to have unsupervised play either. The children are entrusted to their care, and IMHO, the school is well within their right to ensure safety, if for no other reason than to keep insurance costs down. If the kids want to engage in risky play, let them do it on their parents dime, they are supposed to be there to learn.
I dropped my pencil on the floor some many times the teacher probably thought I had some sort of "condition". LOL
Hetero was hard coded into me from the get go. Those girls in the second grade were *beautiful*.
Recently, just within a week’s time, I witnessed 2 incidents of apparently normal children on bicycles with helmets, elbow pads and training wheels! God save us!
Roger that!
It is approaching the point where you need a list of what kids are ALLOWED to do.
Thanks for the ping!
