WASHINGTON (AP) -- Abandoning his pledge to act by the end of summer, President Barack Obama has decided to delay any executive action on immigration until after the November congressional elections, White House officials said.
The move instantly infuriated immigration advocates while offering relief to some vulnerable Democrats in tough Senate re-election contests.
Two White House officials said Obama concluded that circumventing Congress through executive actions on immigration during the campaign would politicize the issue and hurt future efforts to pass a broad overhaul.

The politicos don’t care a whit that the “vast majority of Americans want these invaders out”. Their constituency isn’t “we the people.” It’s the National Chamber of Commerce representing BIG business interests for cheaper labor, thus a stronger bottom line that they care about.
BIG business, and COC represent a huge amount of money for the politicians.
If there were no illegals doing work for cheap, then yes average salaries would go up... but they would go up for everyone thus balance would be restored.
Illegals working for less off the books is only an issue when some businesses use them and others don't giving those that do an unfair advantage since they can then undercut their competitors on price.
But if it was nearly impossible to hire illegals... then every business would be in the same boat and would just adjust the price of their cost of goods or services accordingly.
Hopefully the pro-illegal groups will feel really burned by this. They can get in line with the rest of us who have been let down by this loser.

And the GOP-e response was to attack conservatives.
In the chaos, more gun store owners will be raided and "clingers" (and I mean that in the nicest way) will be provoked and betrayed, from within to fire upon gubmint agents, with dozens if not hundreds of deaths (gubmint automatic weapons spray and predator strikes).
That'll be used as a ruse to remain in power instead of being impeached and removed, but it won't work.
Even my die-hard Obama supporting acquaintances will throw in the towel on him (after the election), and it's because his actions will show he doesn't care about anyone else, just his power-and-mooslime-bro'hood-loving agenda.
This announcement now is out of recognition and advice (ok, call it puppet-string) that he needs and wants his die-hard supporters to vote for Obama-loyalists in November.

Right now, Wal-Mart is heavily promoting on Spanish radio stations the chain’s cheap money wiring service.
If Wal-Mart lost access to the welfare EBT crowd, the store’s stock would collapse.
Probably a lot of relief from Republicans as well that support this nonsense.
Bobo was (happily) screwed coming-and-going on this.
Do this supra-Constitutionally before the election and you force your Dumbo incumbent Senators onto defense.
Do this after the election and you force your Dumbo challengers onto defense.
To wit: Bobo just gave up Lumberjack-Grimes in Ky (who wasn't going to win anyway) on the hopes of preserving Udall and Landrieu and maybe even Pryor.
Elaborating for the Rio Lindans: With the incipient 'delay' being signal-boosted by the regime-loyal media, any incumbent GOP Senator can now say "I'll block/challenge/lawsuit/filibuster/shame/ignore Bobo's supra-Constitutional/10A/14A treason...", yet incumbent Dumbo's can shade Bobo's folly the exact same way, with the deep irony of using mega-millions of pro-amnesty PAC money to run commercials against -- wait for it -- Bobo's amnesty.
This means in the meta is that the Democrats have conceded the Senate, which means that Madame Cankles transmitted to the Bobo Admin that she would rather run against McConnell as Majority Leader than have to explain away Reid (and his loose-cannon encroaching dementia).

No amnesty, i.e., allowing the illegal aliens to stay and work here. Eliminating a path to citizenship is still amnesty. We should have attrition thru enforcement. No legalization whatsoever.
Streamline and expedite judicial processing of illegal aliens.
Drastically reduce LEGAL IMMIGRATION AND GUEST WORKER PROGRAMS.
Except for a few races, they are not making it an issue now. Here in VA Gillespie has yet to attack Warner on immigration and the fact that he voted for the Gang of 8 bill that triples legal immigration to 33 million over the next decade, doubles the size of the guest worker programs to 1.4 million annually, and provides amnesty to 12 to 20 million illegals.
The sad fact is that the RINOs support Obama's ends, they just have some differences about the means. The GOPe did very little about Obama's backdoor amnesty to the Dreamers in 2012, which sparked the current border invasion of unaccompanied minors.
I fully expect the GOPe to push for comprehensive immigrant ion reform during the lame duck session. The fix is in.
NObama will announce amnesty on Christmas Eve 2014 — the same way the Dems did when they passed Obamacare a few years ago (also I believe on Christmas eve) as (they said) a “Christmas present” to the Americana people. Fools.

So far, they can’t. I consider this to be a major party ending scandal.
We can kid ourselves about what it will do to have the Senate majority, but the last time they had it they failed miserably to better this nation. IMO< we’re about to see round two of that.
They could come up with legislation to end illegal immigration and deport every illegal alien.

True dat! Around here the EBT cards get “recharged” the first of the month and the SSI cards on the 3rd. I don’t go to the local WM store until the 6th or 7th to avoid the crowds and allow time for re-stocking the shelves.
