Consumers To Hear Soon If Plans Are Canceled
Kaiser Health News ^ | September 5, 2014 | By Michelle Andrews

Consumers may soon find a surprise in their mailbox: a notice that their health plan is being canceled.

Insurers are required to give policyholders 90 days notice if they’re discontinuing their plans. That means consumers whose plans will be cancelled this December should be receiving notices now.

If your plan is being canceled, you have a number of options. By law, your insurer has to let you buy another of its plans if you want. You can also shop on the state health insurance marketplace for coverage, where many people qualify for subsidies that reduce the cost, or you can buy a plan off the marketplace as well.

This won't apply to ME.

I like my plan, so I can keep it.

Unca Barry told me so.

I purchased a short term policy until the next open enrollment period.

Frankly it offers pretty crappy coverage for the same price of the plan my insurer canceled. I have it for catastrophic coverage only.

what we learned in 2014 ObamaCare, a cancellation is insurespeak for so many changes to your plan means it is easier to re-write than to issue amendments.

But I also wonder is that is also insurespeak for how to raise rates via a loophole, in O-Care?

We asked the question why our rates went up so much and they said that the new policy offers services the old one didn’t. (gag). Like me getting a sex change.

Then what they have now must be unjust power.

Because they clearly do not have our consent.

People derive their power by overthrowing said governments. It's way past time.

But they DO have our consent:

We consent when we buy into obummercare.

We consent to a corrupt tax system when we file that 1040 every year.

We consent to the Federal Reserve every time we spend one of those greenback FRN's.

We consent to the destruction of our 2nd Amendment every time we walk into a gun store and submit to a background check.

We consent to our gubmint every single day in various ways. Take it back? Lol. How can we expect to when we ourselves consent to it existence in its current form?

No longer true.

We only obey this government now because of their threat of deadly force.

They no longer are legitimate, governing with the consent of the governed.

The other stuff aside, we do not buy into Obamacare.

We didn't know what was in it before it was passed, its passage was extremely partisan, and poll after poll show that we want it repealed.

I thought Obama had claimed he isn’t a homosexual - so why has he been giving it to Americans for the entire span of the past six years right up the *ss?

We only obey this government now because of their threat of deadly force.

So what you are saying is that we consent because we are afraid. Which is still consent. Which is precisely why there will never be any kind of resistance. Waaaaay too much sacrifice for that, let alone to do what's necessary to stop consenting. We'll continue on this path and watch America burn until it is far too late. Anyone talking otherwise is full of hot air.

And enough Americans have been rather cheaply bought off with government benefits that they will never, ever willingly give back at the ballot box.

My mother has private health insurance via Kaiser. I'd better start getting ready for her phone call.

The electorate gave its consent in 2008 and 2012. We have to work on winning enough over to Conservative values if we don’t want the electorate to give Hillary consent in 2016.
