These weak-kneed, lily-livered spineless “leaders” won’t even send a single bullet in Ukraine. Totally disgusting.

If someone bumps Putin off, I’ll buy rubles and know they’ll go back up above their current value. He’s sure screwed up Russia and Central Europe.

The moral resolve of one willing to “export gay marriage around the world” is not the kind of resolve that can withstand world-class military aggression.

Well, nothing is permanent except death. However I’d certainly not mind seeing Putins a$$ in a sling for a generation or two.

If Putin said “boo” Cameron would be under the table crying. Merkel would probably say “Okay, your right”
Obama was missing, he was out playing golf

And I don’t think Kiev is much better about sending bullets or anything else to their troops in the east. Only yesterday did they announce they would begin sending equipment” to the volunteer battalions. They had lots of BTR 4s in the Kiev parade but few on the field of battle. And they are produced in Kharkiv!

In a week or two Kharkiv will likely be in Russian hands, there have been lots of armor showing up in Kursk by train

Lower oil prices to < $50/bbl. Instant results.

And mother Russia is just going to sit by and allow this crap to happen unchallenged!!!?????????

No, they will counter-measure us and UK to (almost) ‘death’.

No more petro-dollars, but Petro-Yuan-Rubles

More aggression by both those super-aggressive powers. Towards Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, VietNam, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Arctic and Antarctica, etc. Sew it up. The new axis is Sino(mit Korea)-(nouveau)Soviet-ISIS, plus (Chinese and ISIS and Drug Cartel holdings in) Africa and South, Central and Mexico-Guatemala Norte America.

What in H is left of “the west”? Islamo-Europe and the remainder of Norte America: USA and Canada (which is all also Islamo-infected).

They may very well implement sanctions that actually do cripple the Russian economy. Problem is that just leaves them with nothing to lose. Anyone recall the effect of the oil and steel embargoes put in place against Japan by FDR?

I'm not saying they shouldn't do it. Just don't expect it to be free of consequences.

Sounds like a declaration of war.

Just like Cameron to strut around like he is a tough guy when he is about to get his butt kicked in the elections.

Pitiful. Margaret Thatcher would so ashamed as to what constitutes “leadership” in her party these days.

Just like Harry Truman wouldn’t be too hip on Hussein’s posing as a Democrat.

Yours is probably the only post so far that is both well thought out and makes sense. Thanks.

Why, I think it’s always the right move to go out and grab the hornets nest and give it a good shake.

You may be correct, after all, Putin did say he could be in Kiev in 2 weeks. Perhaps Ukr. should level the factory in Kharkiv?

The combined GDP of the EU and the USA is fifteen times the GDP of Russia. Russia is not a superpower. Russia simply does not have the ability to wage economic war with the west. They are totally outmatched.

So he raises the threat level to severe and then goes on to makes threats against Russia?

Seems he would focus on the severe threat level from Islamists before threatening Russia.

The sad thing is that I can picture that in my mind just too readily.
