Within 2 years they would control all the Gulf states and 1/2 the world's oil exports.
Needless to say they would then be in violation of the Carter Doctrine.
I’m hopeful that as China becomes the big hog at the mideast oil trough, this situation will work itself out.
Their mafia business practices and 1.5 billion expendable people will give the sheiks and islamists a whole new view of what “best customer” looks like.
