When I interview prospective entry-level job candidates in my company, I give high marks to those who don't use social media. If I WAS social networking (which I'm not) and applying for a job. I would tell you I didn't use social media. Of course I don't believe it is a companies business what one does outside of work.
Now retired, while working folks kept trying to get me to join Linkedin. Never happened
