1. If a job candidate tells me he doesn't use social media and it turns out he does, then he's not getting hired -- plain and simple.

2. What you do outside of work is your own business, but when you post things in a public venue then it does reflect on your employer. As such, your employer has every right to ensure that you don't present yourself in an irresponsible or unprofessional manner in your "social media" posts.

That's fascist. First off asking some one about their social networking has to be illegal. It is unconstitutional.
Do you also ask them, If they own firearms, too
