Bought my three boxes of .22LR Remington (1350fps) 100rd boxes for $21 and change out the door. WalMart. 0.07 cents per round.
7 cents a round doesn’t sound like any shortage
A couple of years ago, you could buy a 500 round box of .22LR at Walmart for less than $20.
Not too bad but still on the pricey side.
At least the damn stuff is in stock again.
So, which Wal-Mart was that?
Neither of the two Walmarts near me have had .22 ammo in over a year. And I check regularly.
Recently scored 4000 rounds of lead heads (Federal) at $.04 per round. It’s out there but a difficult find.

Now it is about $10.00 a box of 50, and you have to be 21 years old to buy.
I bought 333 rounds for $21 at the local department store. They seem to get one box per quarter.
I got two boxes at a yard sale for 7 bucks, that is 7 cents a round.

Wow! $21 was what I paid last year at Wally World for a 525 rd brick. My wife and I walked out with over 3000rds for less than $150 Quite an increase.
