Residents in the district of Mariupol East evening of August 30 lined up in a human chain
The action involves more than one thousand. Persons, their number is growing, reports 0629 .
Human chain comes to the checkpoint from the captured Russian troops Novoazovsk.
Many brought with them the symbols of Ukraine, some protesters dressed in embroidered.
Residents stood shoulder to shoulder in a line. It stretched for several kilometers.
Thus Mariupol oppose military action in the city and hope to stop the Russian tanks.
"We are for peace. We want to live in Ukraine. We do not want war," - say assembled.
Now assembled chorus shouting "Glory to Ukraine - Glory to the heroes!"
Earlier it was reported that due to the attention of the OSCE to the captured Russian troops Novoazovsk gunmen cleaned out several tanks. Novoazovsk considered the starting point for the seizure of Russian troops in Mariupol.
“I’d like to buy the world a Coke...”
Need more “hashtag.” (#)
exactly
The mothers of Russian soldiers who complained were officially declared “foreign agents”! How long before their mothers and wives are arrested or disappeared for complaining??
If the only two people in the Washington, D.C., area who believe that the U.S. should send arms to the Ukrainians are John McCain and Lindsey Graham, it would be a wonderful gesture for them to form a human chain in front of the White House in solidarity with the brave citizens of Mariupol.
At least it would be a strategy — something President See-No-Evil can’t manage to put together. As others joined the chain, more and more pressure would be placed on the President to fulfill his executive role of DOING something, even if it’s only to take a clear stand on the Ukrainian crisis, which would at least lead to a debate, the hallmark of a democracy that we its citizens deserve.
The Russian people divide themselves in 2 people: Soviet & Russian.
I agree the Soviets are evil & would probably mow them down: NOT the Russians!
Just goes to prove that everyone in Easter Ukraine really wishes they were part of Russia.
ROTF LMAO
Let’s hear it Vladimir Poopin pooper scoopers.
Then the pro Russians held a "referendum".
As Yakov Smirnoff used to say, "In Russia we have freedom of speech. In America you have freedom AFTER speech."
Or why he’s consigned to Branson, Missouri!
