On the same day I handed command and control to his deputy. And every day I was told that "reinforcements on the way." Seaman would have added a bit of interest! :D But, I understand “Semen Sementchenko” is his “Noms de guerre” or ‘war name’ adopted for security reasons, i.e. members of the French resistance during World War II, military special forces soldiers, etc. I do not beleive he has revealed his true identity.
It's pronounced "syem-YON" and means "Simon."
