"...She's hurting," said Decarreau, who has been in touch with the woman. "She didn't realize this is what would happen. If there's a lesson, it's that [online forums] are not the way to deliver a message to an individual or agency. You need to reach out directly to people..."

She, and people like her, aren't hurting enough, as is the dipstick who took the sign down.

When the idiot woman complained, the owner should have just said, "Hey,it's bacon, breakfast food, we serve it here and we're just having fun with it."

But instead, in that liberal fever-swamp (which I used to love before it turned into this) the dummy tripped all over himself to comply.

They both share equally in this stupidity.

Something does not compute here:

Last week, a local woman who identified herself as "a vegan and a member of a Muslim household," posted a note on Front Porch Forum suggesting the sign was offensive.

But . . .

While some media outlets reported the sign protester was a Muslim, giving rise to the anti-Islam vitriol, Winooski City Manager Katherine Decarreau confirmed that she is not.

I have forgotten how to post a pic...
On Pookie’s toons today, there was an excellent graphic that stuck with me. It said;
“In every country where Muslims are the minority, they’re obsessed with minority rights...
In every country with a Muslim majority, there are NO minority rights.”

Did you happen to get a steak and cheese sub from Viola’s? They’re the best on the planet.

Vermont is loaded with moose statues, quite often painted in psychedelic colors. Many businesses have those (or wooden bear statues) out in front.

I would love to put one of those up in this garden area with a sign that says

“Yield for Moose Limbs”

Too bad old fart, enjoy your retirement while you contribute to the downfall of American society.

This entrepreneur is a successful capitalist, who is most often the first to step up for his neighbors and community. He supports his own family, and provides jobs for his many employees. He is a credit to his town, and his country. Rather than being a sponge on society, he enriches it. He is pulling the cart rather than lounging in it.

And then, there is you and your hysterics.

"She's hurting,"

No. She's not.

"She didn't realize this is what would happen."

Yes. She did.

Anyone that kowtows to the muslim invasion, and eventual sharia law is not worth spit. I’d love to see some of the charities and things he’s donated to. All progressive causes I’m sure.

There are no grey areas. Us or them. He chose them, he is not my friend, ally, or brother in arms.

No, the places Earl makes his rounds are local to Ransomeville, NY, we did have 1 high end meal from the local Yacht Club he belongs to. Kneads the Dough was breakfast, great food, home made bread. Several local lunch spots that had good food, he knows them all, some are not even well known except to locals. Every thing was good and fresh. I just had to watch the Serf and Turf things. They can’t be on the same grill. I wanted to go into Little Italy for real NY Pizza but we didn’t make it. The only time we saw the falls was when we crossed over into Canada for a day at the beach cottage of the baby sister for her BD.

Man the Canada side was bumper to bumper for miles on end, as they came over to shop cheaper and get gas. Gas was $1.29 per liter where we crossed. It ranged from $3.65-85 on the American side. The reverse was the same when we came back. We were fast going and coming, the Canadians were enqueue for hours coming and going. It was not even the main bridge. Rainbow Bridge is what we used.
