Yet the US Government presumes it was? Lets the Muslims take it to court. Many a church is denied building permits; Christians are denied the right to gather in homes for worship, because of parking problems. etc. So why the federal intervention?

There are some interesting quotes in that article.

A good Kelo argument.

“...the project has always been about land use and zoning.

Another big government argument that wins in most cases.

I know the US government does as it pleases, but I’m sure the feds have successfully used those same arguments to win cases, so this discrimination suit might not be a slam dunk for Holder and company. The defense can use the government’s own winning arguments against it.

The building in question is called the Saint Anthony Business Center (SABC). It is the old Medtronics headquarters in the 1970s.

The owner prior to Abu Huraira was the Jeffrey Wirth. He is currerntly serving eight years in federal prison for tax evasion and pump-and-dumping houses in slums in Minneapolis. Abu Huraria picked up he building for a song during the liquidation process.

The tenants were not informed about any of this. I own a business that was located in the basement of that building. I didn't know what was going until suddenly the parking lot was filled with Somali cabs every night.

I moved out because I knew I was going to be evicted at some point, and probably soon.

There is no way you can hold any sort of large assembly in that space. The largest room is the boiler room (upper right).

After I left, Abu Huraira stiffed me on my lease deposit.
