Extreme drought conditions have become so harsh for the Central Valley community of East Porterville, many of its residents dependent on their own wells have run out of water..

Roughly 300 homes have received a three-week supply of bottled water after Tulare County officials discovered their wells had gone dry.

In all, county officials distributed 15,552 1-gallon bottles of water, and have been filling a 2,500-gallon tank with nonpotable water so residents can flush toilets and bathe.

Yep, and the idiot heard from me today...and I used the word idiot when I addressed him as well as socialist and a few other choice words...

Felt good, but nothing will come of it, except maybe me being “disappeared” for being a racist xenophobe...

Send the bill to L.A

Pick 300 LA Families who oppose building water storage in California and let them drink salt water or go to Trader Joes and buy their own.

Our California County (El Dorado County) is only allowed to keep 1 % of the water that originates here....the rest goes to a few fish and Big City folk (Where most of the California Liberals live)

Brown has a decision to make: High Speed rail that makes the Feinsteins millions of dollars, or

Desalination plants all along the coast to take the pressure off wells.

Brown will not help Californians. he will make the Feinsteins richer and screw Californians

Don't know where your county is, but streamflow is in moderate drought in a chunk of N. Calif and along the coast: http://waterwatch.usgs.gov/index.php?r=ca&id=ww_drought Everywhere else is not a big problem. The big problem is the steady draining of reservoirs for no apparent reason (I suspect some sort of Federal requirement).

Brown has a decision to make:

As I remember, Jerry Brown's father (Gov. Pat Brown) changed all of the green Freeway signs to Brown at great cost. Or, perhaps I mis-remember. But it was during Pat Brown's "reign" that the change happened. Maybe it had nothing to do with the name, but I was suspicious.

Jerry is not interested in helping the poor and middle class of this state. He only wants to provide cheap labor for the rich, and big returns for his rich Bay area friends and campaign contributors

Mine won’t run dry in Wisconsin. That’s what I mean by “it depends on where you live.”

But, the poor folks in California’s Central Valley have a real problem that is made worse by Nancy Pelosi and her ilk. The water belongs to the Central Valley Farmers, bu contract. But Nancy Pelosi is diverting it in favor of fish that will never want to run those dry rivers. Consequently, the big farmers are digging wells for the first time, rather than depending on surface irrigation that was bought and paid for after WWII. The more ground water pumped out by the big farmers for their orchards and other crops, the less water remains for the use of ordinary folks.

That’s liberal logic for you- they think California has too much public water and not enough illegal aliens. I don’t know how any intelligent person could vote for them.

And it just might happen, too. Just think of it: all that spectacular scenery that is currently covered with water will be revealed to be covered in mud.

Well, I happen to like mud, dang it.

El Dorado County goes from South Shore Tahoe to the Sacramento County line

(Around here we refer to Sacramento as Excremento in reference to what comes from the politicians there)

Our snow melt and our streams here are down considerably.

Near by is the site for The Texas Hill Reservoir which our water district has owned the land for over 25 years but can’t build it. We also own the water rights but ....ah can’t build it.

Next county over the Auburn Dam waits to be built.....well probably it’s given up on waiting too.

The only flooding we will see in California is of Illegal Aliens

Have a friend in the Valley, near Bakersfield, is relying on wells to continue their potato and other farms.

It’s bad and the valley is being turned into dust bowl in some area and desert in others, in the vain attempt to save some stupid bait fish.
