The truth won't sell adtime like spectacular fiction. Which is exactly why CNN, HuffPost, Slate, Daily Beast and all the leftist rags ran with it, among other reasons. Worthless, every one of them. Suckers that read the crap, too.

Pretty crummy “punking”. Produce fake “evidence” that lines up with the current standard interpretation of an event, then laugh because someone accepted it as _possibly_ real?
Ya know, I did something like that once as a kid. Thought it was funny when leading up to the big reveal - then realized how STUPID the “prank” was. What, it’s supposed to be funny that someone trusted a believable lie? no, that’s not funny.

Even more worthless, the ones who go out and loot for ‘social justice’ based on lies.

Maybe you guys are right. Stern IS the King of All Media.
He’s certainly got their number anyhow.

If stupidity were a felony...the “journalists” at CNN would be on Death Row.

At the RANGE. I'll grant you that - this was IPSC competition... but if they can't make a hit when it's just competition jitters how do they expect to make a hit in a combat situation?

Actually I think what Howard Stern and his staff are doing here is constructive and valuable to our society. They are exposing our media as the jokes that they are and forcing them to do a better job vetting their sources as opposed to just putting any crackpot on the air just so they can "scoop" their rivals.
I also find it amusing that the Howard Stern show is so much more professional and well run than CNN, MSNBC, etc.

The guy’s a media genius.
